Request Assistance
Pet Project works to support animals in our community through trapping assistance, placement, temporary foster, community resources, and responsible placement when possible.
Because we are a volunteer-run organization, our ability to respond may depend on current capacity and available resources. Please complete the appropriate request form below so we can better understand your situation and determine how we may be able to help.
If an animal is in immediate danger or requires emergency medical care, please contact your local animal control agency or an emergency veterinary clinic.
Community Cat TNR
If you are caring for or have identified a colony of community cats, we may be able to assist with humane trapping and coordination of spay/neuter services. If any of the cats are friendly, we will do our best to place them in foster or shelter so they can find homes.
Animal Surrender Request
If you are unable to keep an animal and are seeking assistance, please complete the form below so our team can better understand the situation. Pet Project is a volunteer-run organization with limited foster space, and submitting this request does not guarantee that we are able to accept the animal.
If you are seeking help for multiple animals, please complete a separate form for each animal so we can better understand their individual needs. Litters of kittens or puppies are an exception.
Report Abandonment, Abuse, or Neglect
If you are concerned about the welfare of an animal, please provide as much factual information as possible so our team can better understand the situation. In some cases, concerns may need to be referred to local animal control or other appropriate authorities.
If an animal is in immediate danger, please contact your local animal control agency or emergency veterinary clinic.
Colony Registration / Caretaker Support
If you care for a group of outdoor or community cats, registering the colony helps Pet Project better understand where cats are located and how we may be able to support caretakers in our community.
Through colony registration, we may be able to offer guidance, connect caretakers with resources, assist with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), or provide support such as food or limited medical assistance when available.
Submitting this form does not guarantee assistance but helps us identify opportunities to support both community cats and the people caring for them.
Temporary Foster Request
If you are experiencing a temporary hardship or crisis and need short-term care for your pet, please complete the form below so our team can better understand your situation.
Temporary foster placement may be considered in circumstances such as medical emergencies, hospitalization, housing instability, or other unexpected hardships.
This program is not intended for vacation care, travel, or routine pet boarding.
Pet Project is a volunteer-run organization with limited foster capacity, and submitting this request does not guarantee that we are able to provide foster placement. Pet owners remain responsible for their animal unless and until a temporary foster arrangement is confirmed.
